AIR POLLUTION CONTROL HEARING BOARD VOLUNTARYMEMBERRECRUITMENT The Clark County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) is seeking to fill one positionon the Air Pollution Control (APC) Hearing Board. A member is being sought for the threeyear term beginning on March 17, 2026 of a professional engineer licensed in Nevada.The APC Hearing Board is a seven-member board appointed by the BCC that isresponsible for hearing enforcement and permit appeals, assessing civil penalties, andother Department of Environment and Sustainability, Division of Air Quality (DAQ) mattersthat come before the board for resolution. Applicants must be a resident of Nevada andshall not be an employee of the State of Nevada or any other political subdivision of thestate. This is a voluntary appointment with no compensation. The APC Hearing Boardgenerally meets four to six times per year.Applications must be submitted online at the Countys Boards & Commissions websitehttps://boards.clarkcountynv.gov/active-recruitments. In order to receive consideration,all applications must be received by 5: 00 p.m., on January 15, 2026. All submittedapplications become public record and available for public review.
