Hillside Family Dental, a private general dentistry practice dedicated to compassionate, comprehensive care, is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our patient-focused and family-oriented team. Position Overview

This full-time Dental Hygienist position includes an hourly wage and a competitive benefits package. The hygienist will perform standard prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, sealants, oral health education, and charting in accordance with office protocols and state regulations. You will work closely with our dentist and support staff to deliver high-quality preventive and periodontal care while promoting a calm and positive experience for patients.

Responsibilities

• Complete thorough dental cleanings, scaling, root planing, and periodontal charting.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene, home care, and preventive strategies.
• Take and process digital radiographs and intraoral images as needed.
• Document procedures and treatment plans accurately in the patient record.
• Collaborate with the dentist and team to ensure efficient, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Valid state license and current CPR certification.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Experience with digital records and radiography preferred.
• Commitment to continuing professional development and evidence-based care.
