Equipment Operator

The City of Hermitage is seeking an Equipment Operator in the Street Department. This position operates equipment to perform street maintenance by transporting materials, repairing streets, and maintaining stormwater conveyance systems and street signs. The equipment operator operates trucks to spread deicing materials and plow snow on streets and operates various pieces of specialty equipment related to municipal operations. Qualifications include a minimum of high school diploma or GED and the successful candidate must possess a valid PA commercial drivers license, Class A, A combination, N endorsement tank vehicle with air brakes.

Starting hourly wage is $28.84, increasing to $31.09 after one year.
