SOD CHIEF OF FIELD OPERATIONSSAFETY OF DAMS (SOD) PROGRAMDIVISION OF ENGINEERING & WATER RESOURCES DEWR COMPLEX RONAN, MTNATURAL RESOURCES DEPARTMENT The SOD Chief of Field Operations is a full-time position responsible for operating and maintaining the highly technical and complex network of CSKT Dams Early Warning Systems (EWS), and coordinate early warning system activities with the Safety of Dams (SOD) Program. This position requires a High school diploma or GED/Hi Set; an Associate or Bachelors degree is preferred. Must have at least ten (10) years experience working independently with various hand tools, working outdoors, performing technical projects, and troubleshooting problems. Experience in electrical and instrumentation systems, early warning systems or functional monitoring of dams and supervisory experience is preferred. Will be required to obtain and maintain additional certifications as necessary for SOD Program. Must have a valid drivers license. Also, must successfully complete a certified defensive driving course approved by the department, and wear Tribal Government identification and safety apparel while conducting field activities.
